What? You didn't specify what year the two firsts had to be from. |

Obviously goalie is number one. I think Mathias/Lowry/armia is a very good NHL fourth line (not third line) so fix the 3rd line and don't do it with all kids. It's ok if it has one, maybe two kids but bring in a solid UFA like Sharpe to help solidify it. I think using the word "monumental" in regards to the expansion draft is a bit much! Even losing Perrault would be FAR from Monumental. |

I think the Jets have to take a D at 13 if we keep the pick. It is obvious around the league that even lesser D prospects have more value than better forward prospects. |

Biggest question mark is Tucker Poolman? What he does will really shape the defence going forward.
Morrissey Buff
Poolman Myers
Trouba traded for???? |

I don't think Trouba is traded unless one of Petan, Connor or Raslovik have already been moved for a young NHL ready D with top four potential. If you want fair value for Trouba it will have to be a forward! No team will offer up a D of equal value for Trouba. Teams would offer an equivalent to a "Lowry, Enstrom" package for Trouba and I for one have no interest in a deal that looks like that. Players we possibly good trade one of Petan, Connor or Raslovik for would be Bean, Fleury from Carolina, Morin, Sanheim from Philly, Manson, Larson, Montour from the Ducks.

Canes are not trading Bean or Fleury for anyone who is not playing in the top 9 this year. |

The pick is tradeable, but only if it makes hockey sense. Otherwise we need to draft the best d-man available.

Nic Petan absolutely would not.
Kyle Connor is a "maybe, but probably not."
Who is he beating out for that spot?
Is he going to outperform Skinner, Rask, Aho, Lindholm, Staal, Teravainen, Stempniak, Di Giuseppe or Gauthier? Let alone whatever other players they may try to acquire. |

Draft Valimaki if on the board.
Sign a proper veteran goalie Elliot, Miller etc to split duties.
The young guys being a year older will help the PP PK |

Draft a guy like Brannstrom. He's been compared to Karlsson a lot.
Hope Vegas does us a favour and takes Myers.
Sign Raanta and a youngish puck mover for the bottom pairing.
Cut Chairot, Melchiori, Thorburn, Stuart, and Tanev. They're all useless.
Fire all the coaches.
